Jessica Alba is navigating her new chapter the best way she can. After 17 years of marriage, the actress and her husband, Cash Warren, are going their separate ways. Amid the divorce process, Alba has unveiled a new tattoo.
She showed off the latest inking in an Instagram photo dump captioned, “The current chapter đź’«.” A photo of Alba in the tattoo artist chair kicked off the slide. The ‘Fantastic Four‘ actress looked ravishing in a white singlet tank top with grey cargo pants. She accessorized with gold jewelry while staring sweetly at the camera. In the second slide, Alba showed off the dainty script tattoo written in cursive across her left arm, which read, “Life is transformation is life.” Celebrity Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Winterstone drew the gorgeous inking. Also included in the slide was a family portrait with her three children, Honor, Haven, and Hayes.
Unfortunately, some fans weren’t impressed with Alba’s new body drawing. “We do NOT recommend ‘divorce tattoos,'” slammed one fan.
“She’s acting like a teenager with those dumb selfies, and now she got herself a new tattoo as if she’s happy without Cash,” another harsh comment read.
The timing of the new tattoo raises eyebrows as it comes just weeks after Alba pulled the plug on her marriage. On February 7, she officially filed for divorce from Warren, citing “irreconcilable differences,” per TMZ. She listed the date of separation as December 27, 2024. The Honey star requested joint custody of their three children and for her maiden name to be restored.
Sources say the former couples have no prenuptial agreement, but their divorce is “amicable.” This means their assets are community assets, and division might get a bit complicated. However, both parties seem civil so far.

In a January 17 post, Alba confirmed the separation from Warren after months of speculation that there was trouble in paradise. “I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she began her statement.
“I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
Close insiders reveal that Alba and Warren had long lost the romance in their marriage, but the actress was holding on for the sake of her children. However, now she realizes that she still has time on her hands to find real love. Hopefully, Jessica Alba will get her true heart’s desires.
