The Maleficent star is now ready to return to the dating scene in search of serious romance, but loved ones believe she might have found Mr. Right in the past.
Close sources claim Jolie is being urged by her inner circle to rekindle her romance with her ex-husband, John Lee Miller. The pair were married for three years, from 1996 to 1999, before calling it quits, but there remains no bad blood between them. Her friends think it was a case of right person, wrong time. They want the exes to fire up a second-chance romance. Insiders tell Radar Online:
“Jonny understands Angie like nobody else has, at least, that’s the consensus among the folks who know her best. He’s patient, kind and always happy to hear from her. She talks to him all the time – there’s undoubtedly a spark between them.
The chemistry is extended to their blended family as their kids get along, too. While Jolie has six kids, Miller has one child from his former marriage to Michele Hicks. Jolie and Miller would have reportedly rekindled their romance if things were “perfect,” says the insider. However, the two-time Oscar winner isn’t so optimistic about dating again.

During a recent Q&A session at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, the Tomb Raider star gushed about her bond with the Elementary actor after film critic Leonard Maltin showed her a clip from Hackers. Jolie and Miller met on the set of the 1995 thriller.
“I just talked to Jonny. I love that I get to see my ex-husband with 2,000 people. It’s so nice to see it. I don’t really watch my own films, and so I (don’t) think I’ve seen it since the premiere. But I do have a wonderful relationship with Jonny.”
Jolie’s friends want her to find love in the foundation of her friendship with Miller. They think the English actor checks a lot of her boxes. He lives a low-key life in London and is also a volunteer firefighter, which interests the 49-year-old. “It’s no secret he’s always held a torch for her – he has been open about how he did not want their marriage to end,” the source confirmed. “In a lot of ways, they are a perfect match.” Unfortunately, fans are not rooting for the idea of Miller and Jolie as an item.

“I think she just needs better pals because there’s no way Angelina Jolie has zero chances at finding love,” a second fan declared.
