San Diego Underground Hackers Take Over Digital Sign With Bizarre Display: ‘Stay Classy San Diego’

Now that’s funny.

Some things are universally agreed upon to be morally wrong. One of these things is hacking. Yet, hacking can be harmless sometimes. In fact, it can even be funny on occasion. Some San Diego underground hackers used their hacking skills to take over a digital sign on a road. They left messages that can be described as amusing and also bizarre. There are some sentences I have never seen in my life. Some of the weird sentences were: “BRR BRR PATAPIM,” “TRALA LERO TRALALA,” and “TUNG TUNG SAHUR.” If you know the meaning behind any of these please let me know.

Since it’s Pride month, the hackers decided to celebrate it in their own way. They left two messages saying “TRANS FURRY PRIDE” and “GAY FURRY PRIDE.” There were also some things that I thought I wouldn’t see again since 2010, such as “;3”, “UWU”, and “OWO.” Finally, there was a sentence saying “JOHN PORK IS CALLING.” I made the mistake of searching for who John Pork is, and if I have to see the video, so do you. If you already know it then I don’t spend enough time on the internet, clearly. The hackers also made sure to write “ANSWER Y/N” just in case you were planning on leaving John Pork hanging.

Social Media Users Reacting to the San Diego Hackers

Almost everyone found that the San Diego hackers’ work was quite hilarious. One person wrote, “Stay classy San Diego! Lol.” While another person said, “lol hilarious.” Since the messages might come off as immature, someone also said, “Did a 12 year old hack this one.” I wasn’t the only one left confused by some of the writings as someone else asked, “What language is this?” A very great response was “Brainrot.” On the other hand, one Redditor hinted at the recent attacks on furries by conservatives. “See? This is what they want. This is the gay-furry-trans shared, folks. They want all our road signs to say ‘uwu’ as we’re trying to live our lives and go to work,” they wrote mockingly.

Someone was a little bit serious as they asked about security cameras. “Did they remember to hack the security camera pointed at the digital sign?” they asked. To which someone responded by saying, “Not necessary when you’re wearing a fur suit.” The mentioning of furries kept going as someone also said, “Trans furry pride ahahaha f**k yeah this is great.” Another said, “(Shakes fist in anger) Them gosh darn gay furries!” Aside from mentioning furries, others kept focusing on how funny the messages left by the San Diego hackers were. “Someone is giggling as you post this,” one Redditor commented. Another person said, “;3 got me.” Anyway, happy Pride everyone!
