Part of the charm in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is solving the environmental puzzles it throws at you during deliveries. Often, you’ll have to put up a few ladders, climbing anchors, or just hop around some rocks to reach your destination. However, it isn’t always like that. You can unlock a couple of vehicles in Death Stranding 2 that make your deliveries faster and safer, while also allowing you to carry even heavier cargo. Here, we’ll tell you how soon you can get your post-apocalyptic wheels and how to repair these helpful vehicles.

How To Unlock the Tri-Cruiser

The first vehicle you’ll obtain in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is the Tri-Cruiser. To obtain it, you must reach the end of Mexico’s storyline, which is Order #6. Once you complete it, you’ll be able to craft your own Tri-Cruiser and bring it with you on every delivery. Like in Death Stranding, you’ll also be able to find these trikes along the way if you’re playing online. There might even be a few inside the Online Garage, so always check the facilities before hitting the road; there might be a free vehicle waiting for you.

The second vehicle you’ll unlock in Death Stranding 2 is the Pickup Off-Roader, which becomes available once you complete Order #13. Just like the Tri-Cruiser, you can craft it in any facility, store it, and start finding it out in the wild, assuming players have left them behind. This one is a bit more expensive to craft, but it holds a lot of cargo and even protects it from Timefall because it is inside its storage.

How To Repair Vehicles

While there is a Container Repair Spray to restore a cargo’s container condition, vehicles in Death Stranding 2 work differently, at least in terms of repairs. To do so, all you must do is park them inside a garage and rest for a few hours. Once you take them out, they’ll be fully repaired and charged.

If you use a vehicle too much and are afraid of it breaking down, just put it inside a garage for a while and go to sleep (in-game, not in real life). Also, remember that the DHV Magellan also has a garage, but only holds two vehicles. Yet, it is pretty helpful, as you’ll always have vehicles nearby, especially in places where preppers don’t have a garage.
