Katy Perry has been spotted with ex, Orlando Bloom in the first photos of the former couple together since they recently announced their split. Earlier this week, the 40-year-old singer showed off her slim figure in a two-piece while on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ yacht, but it was actor Orlando’s presence that made immediate headlines.
Showcasing her slender frame in the wake of being told she looks “terribly skinny,” Katy relaxed with newly married Jeff during his honeymoon โ the multi-billionaire made early July headlines for his lavish Venice wedding to wife Lauren Sanchez. Enjoying his honeymoon in the Mediterranean, Jeff invited Katy, Orlando, and the former couple’s daughter Daisy Dove, and it didn’t take long for the reunion to be deemed “awkward.” Katy and Orlando are fresh from ending their nine-year relationship. They spent seven years engaged and welcomed their daughter in 2020.

Looking relaxed in a simply black bathing suit, Katy drew the eye to her ultra-slim figure, proving she’s maintained the weight loss she began making late 2023 headlines for.
The “Woman’s World” singer, who wore shades, plus a purple open shirt with matching shorts in some photos, eventually removed her outerwear for a more revealing look. Images also showed the songstress with her daughter, whose face was blurred out. In one image, taken on land, Katy stood right next to Orlando, who seemed in good spirits as he smiled while in a white t-shirt and dark shorts. The two were also seen together with their daughter, whom they’ve said will always be their “shared priority” as they navigate co-parenting.
‘Awkward’ Reunion After Shock Breakup?
The Daily Mail certainly seemed to think that Katy and Orlando’s reunion was “awkward,” even using the word in its headline. That said, fans didn’t really agree. Over 1,000 fans agreed when a user asked: “Why is it awkward? They look completely comfortable with each other?”
“Errrr maybe theyโre being mature about it, not all exes loathe each other,” another wrote. One fan joked that Orlando is “permanently on vacation” with Jeff Bezos. While Katy didn’t attend Jeff’s wedding, Orlando did and made headlines for being spotted strolling around Venice with actress Sydney Sweeney, 27.
Fans also commented on Daisy’s nanny being present, with some feeling that the nanny was doing all the work. Katy and Orlando waited a while to release a joint split statement, one saying:
“Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting,” with the remainder of the statement confirming their vow to co-parent daughter Daisy with every effort possible.
