Fans, who know that Kate has been undergoing personal stresses as her mother battles Stage 4 cancer, nonetheless worried for the star’s wellbeing, with one begging her to “eat something.”
Kate was also slammed for her quirky style as she rocked frilly, summery shorts and massive boots. That said, users noted how much pressure the British beauty is under, with many warning others in the comments not to give her a hard time. Kate had, in July 2024, addressed her shocking weight loss, clapping back at a body-shamer while revealing that she’d recently lost her stepfather while supporting her mother through her end-stage cancer journey.

The photos showed Kate out and about as she clutched a few purchases, including a canned beverage. Heading out of a store and into her vehicle, the mom of one shocked with her tiny legs and waist, although she won on the style front, donning her signature quirky vibe.
Modeling a white pair of vintage-style shorts with a frilly hemline, Kate added a matching sleeveless top, going for a peasant look while donning glam dark shades. Wearing a huge pair of knee-high black boots with a massive platform, Kate added height to her frame, completing her look with her hair clipped back. Kate also flashed her tattoos while wearing cross earrings and a white shoulder purse to match her ensemble.
Fans Begging Her To ‘Eat Something’
The photos were shared by Backgrid over the weekend. “SHE. IS. NOT. WELL!!” one fan said, with another saying that Kate looked “ill.”
A third likened the actress to a child, also begging her to “eat something.” Noting the rising weight-related remarks, one fan gained over 100 likes for shutting down the shaming as they said: “She has been dealing with a lot of painful issues .. be kind people.. and stop judging..”
Nonetheless, the comments continued. One fan wondered whether Kate might be suffering from an eating disorder, while another wrote: “Those shoes look like they weigh more than she does.”
Kate has continued to update her Instagram amid her weight loss. She’s also opened up about supporting her mom, even taking her to Mexico for a relaxing wellness retreat. Fans have largely been supportive, noting that Kate has a lot on her plate right now.
