Nothing makes you feel angrier than having to deal with a Karen when you’re minding your business. For some reason, Walmart tends to be a Karen hotspot. A woman in Texas found out that literally anything will make some people mad and resort to calling police. The reason this time? She parked on the line in a parking spot at Walmart and a fight ensued because of it.
Bella (@bella_da_bleuprint on TikTok) shared a video that starts with a white Karen speaking on the phone with Texas police. Bella claims that she was at Walmart and parked on the lines in her parking spot when she was suddenly approached by the Karen. She said that the woman wasn’t even near her in the parking lot. The woman then put her hands on Bella and threw something inside her car. When she did this, Bella hit her in the face. Even though Bella said she was assaulted first, the Karen called police on her.
The Karen told police that nobody ever assaulted her before. Bella replies, “Neither have I.” Karen then tells her she finds that hard to believe, to which Bella asks, “Why, because I’m African American?” You can tell from how Karen reacts that she just loves to keep this going. She wanders over and argues in Bella’s face while she’s on the phone with police.
In the end, Texas police finally showed up. Bella recorded the Karen speaking with them and trying to convince them that Bella started the whole encounter. Just remember, she literally called the police because somebody parked on a parking spot line. Bella watches and asks, “What story is she cooking up?” because what does she really have to say to these police about the matter? Bella posted an update that simply says, “VERDICT GUILTY.” The Karen received a citation. In the comments, Bella explained that they ran cameras at the store and saw that she initiated the entire situation. Then, Bella chose to press charges. Justice served.
Most people commenters sided with Bella and agreed that Karens are exhausting. However, some actually took issue to the fact that Bella parked incorrectly in the lines (because that’s what really matters here, cue the eyeroll.) One person pointed out, “I cannot believe people are in the comments defending that lady! Parking on the lines is a pp of mine but unless it actually affects me I ain’t approaching anybody over it! And I dang sure ain’t ASSAULTING someone over it!” Bella replied, “Tbh it was an honest mistake.” She went on to say, “I admitted to her and cops I was parked wrong her actions was uncalled for tho.”
Another commenter made the very good point, “They want to victimize themselves after you defend yourself!!” There was no good reason for this Karen to approach Bella in the first place. But, even so, she took it one step further when she laid hands on her. People expect that you’ll never fight back without first considering their own actions. Hopefully, Karen will think twice about the way she approaches others.
