Selena Gomez is currently front-page news as she shares photos from her bachelorette party. The billionaire singer, 32, has been celebrating the end of her single girl era, and it was bride vibes galore as she updated her Instagram from Mexico this week.
Injecting bridal accents into some of her looks and even posing with a veil headpiece, Selena celebrated with her girlfriends, showing off her sense of style and fun. The actress and singer made 2024 headlines for getting engaged to producer and songwriter Benny Blanco. Her IG share, which came with comments disabled, also included a baby bump photo, and social media went wild wondering if Selena is expecting. That said, fans thinking the Rare Beauty founder is pregnant might want to remember her recent statement — in September 2024, the Only Murders in the Building star confirmed that she can’t have children. Overall, Selena’s post proved a hit, netting her over 4 million fan likes.
Selena Gomez Shows Off Baby Bump In Instagram Photos
Modeling an embroidered cream dress in her first photo, Selena sent out happy vibes while reminding fans of her style queen status.
The Texas native, who got engaged to Benny in December 2024, moved on to a very bride-themed look in her second slide, this time going ethereal in white as she wore a veil. The party vibes were strong in further slides, where Selena and a huge crowd of gal pals enjoyed drinks while rocking bathing suits.
Selena likely knew she’d spark pregnancy rumors with her baby bump slide, which likely featured one of her guests. The brunette has said that she wants to become a mother, but that her “medical issues” would mean a pregnancy would be a risk, both for her and her baby.
Baby Bump Photo, But Can’t Have Kids?
Speaking last fall, Selena revealed:
“I haven’t ever said this, but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children,” adding: “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.” Selena made the reveal alongside one disclosing her plans of what to do if she was still childless at the age of 35.
A fan on X quickly wondered if Selena was “pregnant” in the wake of her recent snaps.
Selena’s fans seem to have mixed views when it comes to Benny. While some feel that she’s happier than ever with him, others don’t like his seemingly possessive body language. Multiple images have shown Benny clasping Selena’s chest, although Selena seems to have been happy sharing the photos on social media. The Wolves singer is, of course, also known for her on-off years with Canadian singer, Justin Bieber. Justin is now married to supermodel Hailey Bieber.
