Twilight actor Robert Pattinson recently co-starred with Hunger Games alum Jennifer Lawrence in Die My Love, in which they were involved in some fairly steamy scenes. It goes without saying that Pattinson has quite the positive reputation among fans as quite a likable guy. And Lawrence confirms that fact with her recount of how things went down with him in the movie’s lovemaking scene. “I felt really safe with Rob,” claimed the Passengers actress on the Las Culturistas podcast. Things went so well between the two that she said she didn’t need an intimacy coordinator with him.
Jennifer Lawrence explained how male actors can get upset if intimate scenes become awkward and weird during filming. But Pattinson “was not like that.” Instead, the two mostly chatted about their kids and relationships, and there was no awkwardness when they had to get down to business. “He is not pervy and very in love with Suki Waterhouse,” expressed the Red Sparrow star. Waterhouse and Pattinson have been together for around six years and even had their first child together last year. That said, it’s more than pleasant to know the Mickey 17 actor didn’t cast any doubts during Die My Love‘s shooting.

Needless to say, fans were quite happy to hear that even during intimate scenes in movies, Pattinson still keeps things professional and is easy to work with. “Man, I just keep hearing cool things about Rob. He seems like a chill dude,” remarks a Reddit user. Whether it be Twilight fans or even gamers, Pattinson has gained the respect of many people, with some even calling him the “next Keanu.” Still, some online commenters criticized the fact that an intimacy coordinator was more or less dismissed in Jennifer Lawrence’s eyes. The point isn’t whether the pair feels comfortable, but it’s for the actors’ protection and to help the scene stay true to the director’s vision.
Whatever the case, Lawrence didn’t seem too bothered by her lovemaking moments with Pattinson or the fact that she had to be fully naked in Die My Love. She claims that she’s “not sensitive about it” and that being pregnant helped her get through any anxiety she had about nudity. Even when the production team asked if she minded the cellulite on her rear, she claimed it wasn’t even a problem. It would appear the two stars were perfect for their roles in the film, as the movie sits at a solid 76% currently on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience should likely be of the same opinion when the movie releases on November 7.
