It turns out that people do crazy things you would never imagine possible when they are inside their house. One example is how a Tennessee family decided to host a funeral for their daughter’s pacifier. They posted a hilarious video documenting the fake funeral, and they definitely went all out. Apparently, their daughter, Savanna, had her pacifier from March 2023 to November 2025. You could see everyone from the family wearing black as if they were at a real funeral. They even got someone to play the piano. There were also a few pacifiers on the piano, and everyone passed by them to bid farewell. Someone passed with a baby in their hands, and the baby took a pacifier for himself; he has given it another chance at life.
After the Tennessee family passed by the pacifiers, the mourning continued. A woman, who looked like the grandma, was playing the tambourine while the piano was still being played. They were really committed because someone even started saying a few words. “I know it’s hard, but nothing is lost when you know where it is,” he said; he should have prepared better. A woman then started screaming, probably because she was overcome with emotions. The next part of the funeral was of the family singing while a woman pretended to break down. The funeral ended with them standing outside carrying Savanna and sending off the pacifier to the air since they had it tied to some balloons. It was a proper goodbye because they also sang “Let It Go” while doing that.
The family had another video on TikTok showing the invite to the funeral, so you wouldn’t feel like you were missing out. One picture had an order of service documenting the events that were going to take place. Finally, they wrote an ode to the pacifier, which was a beautiful gesture, honestly. “Oh Paci dear, you’ve done your part, You’ve soothed her cries, and warmed her heart. But now she’s big and strong, you see, So off you go — fly wild and free!” it read.
People Reacting to the Tennessee Family’s Hilarious Video
Everyone found the Tennessee family’s video to be pretty funny. It was also creative for many because it’s not every day you see something like this. This is why one person asked, “Who the hell came up with this?!” Apparently, parents have been creative like this for a while because someone replied and said, “Lmfao I’m 30 and my family did a balloon release for my bottle idk who comes up with it but it’s been going on for a min apparently.. can’t wait to do it with mine.” Since you probably would never guess that your neighbors are doing something like this, one woman said, “You never know what people are doing in their home.” Someone then replied, “Im just imagining when i drive past people house and they have a ton of cars over so i think theyre having a party when in reality this is happening.”
The Tennessee woman who posted the video on behalf of her family shared more details in the comments. A funeral was definitely needed because Savanna was attached to her pacifier. “This was a big deal for her and the family ! She was OBSESSED with that pacifier,” the woman wrote. Thankfully, the funeral was successful as well. “Yesss! I asked her where her Pacifier was this morning, and with confidence she said ‘in heaven’! She hasn’t asked me for the pacifier since the funeral,” she added. I hope they release a longer version of the funeral.
