The clash traces back to Ross reacting angrily to “Girl, Get Up,” where Doechii addressed accusations of being an “industry plant.” Ross interpreted the song as a diss and launched into a misogynistic rant during a livestream. Glasses Malone soon intervened, accusing Ross of crossing a line.
“I don’t give a *expletive* if you think that *expletive* dissing you,” Malone said. “You not finna just be sitting up there talking *expletive* that Black woman.” When Ross dismissed him and threatened police involvement, Malone stood firm: “What in the fuck make you think if I’m saying this on this camera… I’m not running.”

Per Complex, the situation intensified when Joe Budden dissected Doechii’s “Girl, Get Up,” claiming the rapper aimed several bars at Adin Ross. Referring to prior remarks by Glasses Malone, Budden went far beyond analysis, stating, “I do want to say I’m rooting for Glasses Malone to get all the Crips together to beat up homeboy [Adin Ross].”
As co-host Ice revisited Ross’ past commentary, Budden dismissed the streamer’s conduct as reckless, saying Ross’ words were indefensible: “It’s disgusting.” Ice agreed, noting, “The more I looked into it, she was directly talking to him. Because he said some wild *expletive*,” to which Budden replied, “Yeah, he said a bunch of *expletive*.”
Social Media Reacts to the Controversy
Online reactions on X were swift and unforgiving in calling out Budden for trying to incite violence. One user wrote:
“Would make my year to see all of these guys go to jail. I hope they try it,” adding that “a moron like Glasses might be stupid enough to get peer-pressured into committing a crime😂.”
Another criticized the tone outright, saying, “Inciting violence like this is very weird. Hopefully, Adin sues them.” Others questioned platform responsibility, with one comment reading, “I think Joe Budden’s podcast should be suspended for this. How can he encourage violence against someone?”
