From a distance, the woman began approaching them while yelling and cursing. Ironically, several people who later watched the video joked that her voice sounded like a bird, comparing it to a goose.
She continued berating the hunters, yelling, “You aren’t welcome. Go away,” before once again launching into repeated expletives. Throughout the entire encounter, the hunters remained calm and chose not to respond to her at all.
The Washington Karen didn’t stop there. Spotting what appeared to be ducks in the nearby water, she tried to warn them about the hunters by throwing rocks in their direction. That’s when one of the hunters informed her that the ducks were actually decoys. Another hunter briefly fired back with an insult, using a slur, which only escalated the situation further.
Rather than backing off, the woman insisted she didn’t want them shooting in the area and claimed it was public property. Ironically, that statement only confirmed that the duck hunters had every right to be there, prompting them to laugh.
Once again, the hunters corrected her, explaining that the ducks she was referring to were already dead. One of them even tried to lighten the mood with a joke, saying, “Those birds identify as dead already.” That comment only earned him another round of angry yelling.
By the end of the video, the woman appeared to realize she wasn’t going to win the confrontation. She finally turned around and walked away, leaving the group alone. The footage ended with the cameraman showing that one of the hunters had successfully taken down a bird, suggesting the woman didn’t return to bother them again.

Was sitting with my duck decoys out one time and these two crackheads came out of nowhere, walked into the water, and tried gathering them up thinking they were real ducks stuck somehow.”

The comments made it clear that viewers found the woman’s behavior far more alarming and absurd than anything the hunters were doing.
More criticism poured in as viewers pointed out that the Washington woman’s behavior may have actually been illegal. “Please tell me you called the game warden. People like this need to be charged with hunter harassment. RCW 77.15.210,” one person wrote. Another agreed, saying, “The law is definitely on the hunters’ side in this argument. They should have told her to call the cops.”
Others hoped there would be consequences. “I really hope that a game warden gives her a fat ticket for this kind of behavior, as long as the hunters were on appropriate public land,” one commenter said.
