While most stayed inside during the recent snowstorms, one Massachusetts woman passed the time chronicling ongoing parking wars. People couldn’t get enough of Jeep Man and Nissan Girl’s parking adventures. Following the popularity of the videos, the TikToker Caroline released a Q&A that can be found on her channel for those wishing to know behind-the-scenes secrets.
The Massachusetts woman has a five-part series on her TikTok where you can see the parking wars unfolding. The star of the videos has been dubbed Jeep Man, and people couldn’t get enough of his attempts at saving his space. One of the last updates reveals that while Jeep Man didn’t move, Nissan Girl did move. Another favorite character in the video is the Home Depot bucket, aka a space saver, which “has been confirmed [to] still work.” People are even cheering in the comments, “JeepMan and Home Depot Bucket, I’m rooting for you.”
The video continues, showing more activity down the street. The new activity finds a vehicle parked in what “was not his original spot” and was now trying to fit somewhere else. Meanwhile, the Home Debot bucket remains “tried and true.” Other important space savers include the Trash Can and the Chair. The Massachusetts woman points out a parked car that “wasn’t there during the storm.” She adds that it was now “messing up the ecosystem.”
Massachusetts Woman Chronicles Parking Wars
It all started with one guy, later revealed to be the hero of the wars, Jeep Man, who “shoveled out a spot during the storm.” However, it would not remain his spot as Nissan Girl would end up taking it. “Even with the space saver,” the Nissan owner attempted to steal the spot. Other videos introduce a bucket that becomes a regular character, serving as a space-saver throughout the whole ordeal.
The Massachusetts woman continues that the man shovels the back half of the spot, so he “can park behind her.” The goal seems to be for him to “potentially just block her in.” The woman comments that the Nissan driver “thought that pulling halfway up on the snow bank was gonna be helpful.” She hopes “he doesn’t see [her]” as she records the man’s attempt to pull his car into the now-shoveled space. She proceeds to applaud his efforts: “He successfully did it. He blocked homegirl in.” The woman dishes that the driver “is not skilled enough to get out of that,” referring to the snow bank. She concludes, “I’m on Jeep Man’s side. Go Jeep Man!”
These videos surprisingly took off in popularity, reaching people around the world. One comment reveals that they’re “watching parking wars from South Africa!” A second shares, “This video got to Nigeria and [I] am loving the storyline.” This quirky humor has a commentator describing her as “an icon.” Another reads, “Snowstorms really expose how thin the line is between neighbors and supervillain origin stories.” People can’t get enough of the drama, with one commenter cheering, “Go Jeep Man, I’m proud of him!”
