A Florida woman’s terrible Karen neighbor has finally taken things too far when she received a citation for harassing children while they were fishing. The citation was given by the Wildlife and Fishery Agency. Their neighbor furthered the situation by asking during a previous court date for a continuous over her $200 citation. This time, the neighbor planned to have her attorney present.
She explains how, typically, this time of year, they avoid the “portion of water [the neighbor] thinks is hers, even though [they] legally can.” The Florida woman shares a compilation video of the various updates that led to the court date. She details how the fishery agents gave them the option to zoom in, but she felt it was important to be there in person. Before the court date, the neighbor was on “her best behavior.” When she did arrive in court, she came with her whole family and a new attorney.
Florida Woman Takes Karen To Court
She explains how “this was a little different than [their] traditional court experience.” They were only allowed to come in with their son as he was a minor, and “only when it was time for him to testify.” The neighbor and her attorney were in the courtroom most of the time. This was “several areas to [her] understanding.” The Florida woman shares, “As the questions were being asked, my neighbor was eyeing my son down, making faces.” While she couldn’t see everything the neighbor was doing, she knew it was whatever she could to intimidate her son.
She continues that she was super proud of her son, and that he “did amazing.” The Florida woman says that this was easy for him as “he wasn’t trying to stretch the truth or anything.” She adds, “Everything we have always said and have been doing, talking about, has been 100% the truth.” She doesn’t reveal what questions were asked as they “did not get an answer today.” They would be able to call in later to see what has been decided. She expresses frustration as they “spent the entire day there.”
She and her husband weren’t allowed to speak during the case. Her son only had ten minutes to answer questions. The Florida woman hopes “the judge sees what this is and how this has not just been the first time.” She adds, “This has been multiple years of harassment.” She explains, “It is absurd to me that she brought it to this level for this citation.” However, the woman shouldn’t be surprised as “she’s always made things over the top.” She asks for “fingers crossed and good vibes” while they wait for news.
