The battle between the Left and Right is beginning to look like a scene right out of reality TV. One of the representatives of South Carolina claimed that some “lunatics” on the Left tried to break into her office.
A video was posted on the representative, Nancy Mace’s official X page. The right-wing politician stated that she had just left the office because they saw some people in a “cult-like stance or trance.” She stated that her team had taken a clip of the weird occurrence and they would post it later.
The South Carolina politician recalled that there was a similar thing some time back, where the leftist came to her office. “They were rattling my door; it sounded like trying to break into our office, aggressively handling the door.” She added that this was “some kind of setup by lunatics on the Left.”
The representative noted that they were trying to scare her employees, as they had received several death threats. “The way the Left feels so emboldened to scare people, their scare tactics, being physically aggressive… People need to get it together and get the help they need, because this isn’t normal. It’s not safe, and you’re gonna get what you deserve if you’re not careful, so I would tread very carefully,” she concluded.
Unfortunately, Internet users didn’t buy Mace’s claims. Netizens stormed the comments once the video was posted.
“Quit lying about death threats – exaggerated rhetoric. All you are doing is gaslighting,” one stated bluntly. “Ooh! You found something else to be a victim of. Do you keep a list of these things somewhere?” a user asked. Another chimed in, “here you go, Nancy, playing the victim for attention. You really need to get some serious psychological help.” One user used her own words against her, “The way you have been acting, we would be hard pressed not to include you as a member in the group of lunatics.”
One netizen asked, “Looking for more attention… Such a liar. Where’s the video? Proof?” Another one wrote, “We understand that you won’t be silenced, but can you shut the [expletive] up for a single day? Just one is all we ask.”
A user said, “Aggressively trying to get into your office? Like J6? I thought you guys called that a day of love?” I’m sending you thoughts and prayers. That should fix it.” Another wrote, “Ok, let’s start something to regain our republic. Use your office for something worthwhile. Otherwise, everything you have done will be for nothing. Even our founding fathers were outlaws.” A last user said, “Stop making this left vs right. Both sides have been responsible for selling out our country. We are also tired of elected officials throwing themselves in front of a camera and making everything about themselves.”
