A woman in Richmond, Virginia, revealed nonchalantly that someone had been entering her apartment without her consent while she was at work. Apparently, she is the only resident with this issue, and the internet, noticing her calmness, freaked out for her, urging her to do something, fast.

The woman, Helen Chodge, shared the video on TikTok, where it quickly gained attention, reaching 2.3 million views, 106,200 likes, and nearly 7,000 comments within days.

The Virginia woman revealed that someone had been entering her apartment for a few months. She initially noticed this and contacted her leasing office, she said, but was told her suspicions were incorrect and that no one had broken into her apartment.

However, some things lacked an explanation and raised many eyebrows.

“My packages were being moved from outside the door into inside,” Helen said. “Everybody else’s packages were in the hallway outside their doors. So somebody was coming in there.”

Even though the leasing office denied that anything was going on, the mysterious package moving stopped. However, recently, she noticed two pieces of a Juicy Drop Pop wrapper on top of her bathroom trash can.

“I don’t eat Juicy Drop Pop, nor has anyone else been in my apartment in weeks,” the Virginia woman added.

Now, Helen is convinced that someone has been entering her apartment. She is planning on purchasing a camera, and she also sent a “very long email” to her leasing office. In a follow-up, she said that the leasing office called her, saying, “It didn’t happen.” Regardless, she ended up calling the police.

Internet Reacts To Her Reaction

The video sparked multiple responses online. Many users were genuinely concerned about her safety. One viewer commented, “Police report immediately.” Another one, theorizing what had occurred, said, “My guess is a maintenance person.”

However, other viewers were shocked that Helen had reacted in such a calm way to a very serious series of events. One viewer wrote, “You are underreacting.” Another commenter added, “What mg of Lexapro is this?“

With millions of eyes on her due to the alleged breach of privacy, it appears that Helen will continue updating her new followers as often as she can.
