A woman in Florida is facing criticism online after an immigrant family shared a video in which she was allegedly harassing them.
It appeared that the family was fishing when the incident happened. The woman is heard pointing at the person filming and saying, “You go back to your country.” She also points at him and the rest of the family and refers to them as “illegal immigrants.”
The interaction continued as the woman said to the family, “can’t wait till Trump deports you.” As she began walking away, another individual claimed that she had a weapon. She then returned to the group, denied the allegation, and responded with profanity while making a hand gesture toward the person who made the claim.
The woman continued yelling at the family while the person filming can be heard asking her to calm down. She is heard saying, “You [expletive] illegal immigrant. Go home. Leave our country.” She then directed remarks toward an older woman in the family who was also recording the incident, saying, “You [expletive] nasty old [expletive]. Sucking from my system. You never [expletive] pay one dime in taxes here. Did you?”
After making the remarks, the woman began to leave the area. The person filming can be heard calling her a “Karen” and saying she was going to go to jail. As she walked away, she made an expletive gesture toward the group and said they were going to get deported. The exchange was later widely described online as racist by some viewers.

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers expressed sympathy for the family and criticized the Florida woman’s behavior. One person wrote, “Hate is ugly!” Another commented, “These are the same people who love Mexican food, love going to Mexico on vacation…love going to Jamaica and other countries in the Caribbean on vacation….but no ‘LEAVE MY COUNTRY’ what if you were told that every time you showed up in someone else’s country??”
More users criticized the woman and also mentioned Trump, with some suggesting she supported him. One person wrote, “These are the low IQ supporters of his. What are do you expect they running around like this they better get back on that medication please Donald your folks need their meds. They run around the streets like they cuckoo,” Another user said, “It makes me so sad to see what people have become all because of Trump‘s rhetoric.”
