Drama between two Chicago, Illinois neighbors pushed one to devise plans to get payback for allegedly allowing their dog to poop in her yard. She claimed that another resident in the area has even encouraged her to contact the cops.
The Illinois woman tends to post frustrated videos, detailing rude encounters and often including security camera footage. In a previous video, she claimed her neighbor confronted her about “the whole entire neighborhood [seeing her] video.” However, instead of being upset, the neighbor seemed proud to have been rude. She asked, “So you are proud because you are rude as [expletive] and the whole entire neighborhood knows about it?”
The Illinois woman’s most recent video featured camera evidence of the neighbor’s dog pooping in her yard. She said, the neighbor “had the audacity to tell me to keep my kids on my side, but then look at your dog.” She shared a screenshot of an alleged group chat between the HOA and the neighbor. In this, it was seemingly confirmed that the neighbor was aware that they didn’t clean up after the dog. The video has over 2,000 likes and over 31,000 views.
Following the on-camera incident, the woman has been weighing her options for how to retaliate. This included putting a poster around the neighborhood, calling the cops (a non-emergency line) to get the neighbor fined, or dropping off the dog poop in her driveway. The Illinois woman claimed this has been an issue since she moved in. She couldn’t understand how someone would allow their dog to do this “and then just never pick it up.” This was why the woman chose to put up security cameras. She also stated that she had spoken to several other neighbors: “A lot of people find it rude.”
Several Take Illinois Woman’s Side
Many are invested in the ongoing drama and have even requested regular updates. One says, “Commenting and following cus this is better than reality TV.” Meanwhile, others are sharing their opinion on what she should do. Some take creative approaches in their suggestions, such as, “It would be a shame if the dog poop ended up smeared on the trash & recycle bin handles.” However, several think she should be an adult and pursue a fine, while others encourage her to be petty.
One comment reads, “I vote take the dog poop and put it in her driveway, no bag.” Another says, “I like all the options lol so I say do them all.” Another agrees and encourages the Illinois woman to “BE AS PETTY AS CAN BE!” One commenter takes the mature route, saying, “I would so take it to the management that run the HOA.”
In the comments, the Illinois woman confirms she has chosen to file a complaint, stating, “I’m trying to be better at the police station.”
