An Arizona GMC truck driver sparked concern online after he made threatening gestures towards another driver who had simply yielded to someone exiting a parking lot. In a dashcam video on r/Roadcam shared by InvincibleSugar, the trucker almost rear-ended the car in front, even though the traffic was seemingly moving slowly across the road. Clearly angered by this, the man drove ahead and began expressing his rage at the dashcam’s owner, even making gun-shooting gestures with his hand.
Conversely, InvincibleSugar didn’t find the truck driver’s behavior acceptable either, calling him a “man-child” in their Reddit post. After yielding to the tan SUV in the parking area, the truck driver “started gesturing like he wanted me to get out and fight. Very normal adult behavior,” InvincibleSugar wrote. Plenty of Redditors found the man’s actions worrying and ridiculous, though a few accuse the yielding driver of not being predictable.
Reddit Shamed the Angry Arizona Truck Driver for His Road-Raging Behavior
“Dude tried to stretch a 5-second wait into his personality for the whole day,” laughed a commenter. “Some people are just looking for a reason to be angry. They face little trouble in their life so they seek the distraction of inconvenience to be angry at,” remarked a second.
Others accused the Arizona truck driver of having “main character syndrome,” with plenty saying his “oversized” truck is supposed to compensate for something he might lack. “[He’s] upset over his Gender Affirmation Truck,” remarked a third Redditor. “How does somebody stay angry that long over something so trivial? That has to be exhausting,” questioned a fourth.
Unfortunately for InvincibleSugar, some believed OP was to blame for the whole ordeal. “Don’t be polite, be predictable. While the response is unwarranted, you are in the wrong,” wrote a commenter. A few others recommended that the dashcam be turned in to the police or that OP consider carrying a firearm to fight.
While such concerns feel valid for those Redditors, InvincibleSugar argued back: “It’s a small town, do I want to make a ruckus about it? Would the police even do anything?” Based on their replies to similar comments, OP’s aim was to rant and shame the truck driver, not to get him arrested or get into a fight with him.
