In Tennessee, a TikToker had been minding her business, enjoying some new decorations she put up when she was suddenly approached by Jehovah’s Witnesses. These new decorations apparently caught their attention, spurring them on to do what Jehovah’s Witnesses do best and be rather inconsiderate.
Posted by TikTok user Princess_killshot using footage from her Ring camera, the caption reads, “I was just trying to take a picture of my pride wreath.” June being Pride Month, after all. Just after taking the photo, Princess is about to go back inside when Jehova’s Witnesses shout out to her from the street, “Hey! Stop!”
Taking her by surprise, Princess comes back, and when the Jehovah’s Witnesses have her attention, they shout at her, “Jesus loves you!” To this, she says, “Okay?” The Witness then proclaims, “We just wanted to remind you!” When they have her full attention, they ask, “Can we come share our scripture with you?”
Princess stands her ground and says, “Oh, absolutely not.” She proceeds to tell them she’s a “witch” and doesn’t want to hear what they have to say. They ask her if she believes in Jesus Christ and she tells them straight out, “[Expletive] no. Go away.” As she’s walking back inside her house, you can hear the man still calling out to her about God, being incredibly persistent.

It was clearly meant to be facetious, given that Princess’s Pride flag was on full display. And it’s fairly common for religious people to go out of their way to express their faith, especially when it comes to the LGBTQIA+ community. Seeing how people responded on Princess’s TikTok video, they saw right through it, too.
One TikTok user shared how they handle Jehovah’s Witnesses. “I like to ask them for their home address so I can come teach them about science at my convenience.” This started a comment thread, with several viewers saying they’re borrowing this idea for next time.
Many users were sharing in celebration of Pride Month. “Perfect 10/10. Happy Pride 🏳️🌈,” one user wrote, with another wanting to see the wreath. Princess delivered by posting an image in the thread of a cute rainbow-colored heart.
Others gave Princess props on how she handled the Jehovah’s Witnesses. “That energy right there,” a viewer said. Another told Princess, “I. LOVE. YOUR. ENERGY. 💖💙🏳️🌈.” It’s clear from how people responded, they didn’t appreciate a religious person rubbing their religion in someone else’s face and found it distasteful.
