An Arizona man who lives in an HOA is completely tired of the control his neighbors try to have over him. While he’s trying to sell his pickup truck, a neighborhood Karen pulls up and starts recording him. Why? She thinks he’s working on his truck, and that’s against HOA rules.
TikToker @04blzr tells his TikTok audience, “Never move to Arrebol Villas in Goodyear, Arizona!” He starts his recent video by explaining to his audience that this is where he “lives” as he shows a woman in her vehicle. The angry Karen parked right outside his house and is openly recording him while he stands next to his pickup truck. He’s trying to sell his pickup truck and has the hood popped to show potential buyers the engine. She accuses him of working on his vehicle, which you’re apparently not permitted to do in this neighborhood. He yells back at her, “I’m not working on it!”
The Karen doesn’t believe him and asks him why his hood is popped if he’s not working on the vehicle. He calls back, “Because I’m putting it back on! I am not working on it.” She continues to fight with him on the matter. But all he has to say to her is, “I’m minding my business. Please leave me alone. I’m tired of you guys harassing me.” It’s clear that this isn’t the first time this has happened. He tells her if she comes back and harasses him again, he’s going to “file a police report.” To this, she nods her head, but does nothing to stop recording and leave his property.
Finally, she puts her phone down but keeps looking at him as if he’s doing something utterly wrong. He walks away from her window and says, “Have a wonderful time, lady. Enjoy your day.” As she’s driving away, she’s shaking her head at him, annoyed.
Commenters immediately flooded @04blzr’s comment section with opinions and reactions related to the video. Many were astounded by the Karen’s actions. As one commenter asked, “I’m assuming she’s divorced and single??” Another commenter stated, “I will literally pay extra to avoid a HOA.”
Other commenters speculated that HOA neighborhoods are filled with people who have nothing better to do than harass their neighbors. As one commenter asked, “Is she that bored?” Another commenter urged, “Stopppppppppp explaining stuff to people! That goes for EVERYONE.” Many commenters continue to share their reactions to the video as it gains popularity for the ridiculous way things were handled.
