A group of Florida kids sparked outrage online after they were filmed riding their bikes into a clothing store and causing a disturbance.
The video was shared on TikTok by someone who was inside the store at the time of the incident. In the footage, four kids on bikes could be seen riding in circles throughout the store. Three of them were also shirtless. A man inside the store appeared to try to get them to leave, but the group continued riding their bikes despite this.
As the man spoke to them, one of the kids responded by cursing at him, saying, “Shut up, [expletive].” Moments later, another kid was filmed opening the store’s door and telling the rest of the group, “Let’s go.” The kids then left the store one by one while still riding their bikes.
Another man inside the store could be seen going after the group while yelling at them. He then closed the door once they had finally left the store. It also appeared that some of the men inside found the situation amusing. At the end of the video, one of the kids returned and attempted to open the door again but was unable to get back inside. The video ended there, and it is unclear what happened afterward.
Viewers Outraged After Seeing Video of Florida Kids
The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers were left outraged after seeing how the kids behaved inside the store. Since some of the men present appeared to find the incident funny, many commenters disagreed with that reaction. “Nothing about this is funny,” one person wrote. Another commenter said they would have handled the situation differently, writing, “This makes me want to get a job in retail just so I can give everyone an example of the proper response to this.”
More people expressed outrage over the incident, with some arguing that this type of behavior contributes to stores closing in certain communities. “This is why the city I’m in ALL the stores are closing… Icon would be the next store that would be closed here. There’s only one grocery store in the whole city. There were 6. All Dollar Trees closed, Dollar Generals closed,” one person wrote. Another commenter sarcastically remarked, “These parents are doing a great job.”
The video sparked a conversation about disruptive behavior by some young people in public places and whether there are enough consequences for such actions. It also led to broader discussions about the role of parents and guardians in teaching respect for businesses, employees, and other members of the public.
