Posting photos of horrific damage done to the cottage’s interior, TemporaryZebra7566 claims they haven’t been to the place in months and weren’t able to visit “due to forces outside our control” until now. Based on the pictures shown, the moisture damage runs deep, so much so that some Redditors believe the cottage is unsalvageable at this point.
“May as well throw the whole house out at that point,” remarked a Reddit user. “There’s no way it’s worth the money and effort to fix this rather than tearing it down and starting over,” agreed another. “A place so sad even the ceiling fans are depressed,” remarked a third.

Although their primary excuse was that they couldn’t “weren’t able to get up there until now,” some Redditors aren’t buying it.
