A Virginia family’s vehicle broke down outside a neighbor’s house. They were planning on calling a tow truck but the Karen neighbor beat them to it. Taking matters into her own hands, she watches the drama unfold and was right there to record the entire interaction.
Imagine going through something as stressful as a car breakdown but your neighbor makes matters worse by calling a tow truck on you. That’s what happened to TikToker @tapassion_. This TikToker said her vehicle broke down and she parked it on the public street in front of her neighbor’s house. She was about to get the vehicle towed but her Karen neighbor beat her to it. As this TikToker says, “She doesn’t come outside for nothing else but called to get a car towed.”
In the video, the neighbor is seen recording the vehicle as it’s hooked to the back of the tow truck that she called. @Tapassion_ says that her neighbor never comes outside but she had to be front and center to all this drama. She laughs as she says, “You can knock on her door, she don’t answer the door. We’re getting the car towed because she called the people to tow the car.” Keep in mind, the vehicle was parked on a completely public spot on the street. But because it was in front of this neighbor’s vehicle, she called tow truck services to remove the vehicle before they had the chance.
To make matters worse, this TikToker says she “works with” this specific tow truck driver every day. They had plans to have that tow truck take their vehicle away from the street if the neighbor would have just been patient. She records her neighbor and says, “I’m confused as to why she’s outside.” She continues by stating, “Crazy work.”
The video immediately sparked reactions from commenters. Many agreed with this TikToker that her neighbor’s actions were overkill. Others, however, questioned why the vehicle was parked there in the first place. One commenter asked, “How long was the car parked in front of the house??? Because if it’s been there an extended period of time, I understand.” Another mentioned, “I would never feel comfortable long term parking in front of someone else’s home without permission. Idc if it’s legal or not, all laws aren’t good laws.” One commenter replied to this, “It is a public street. Your mortgage does not include the street.”
Other commenters found the neighbor’s actions to be ridiculous and rude. One commenter asked, “Why are they towing a car parked on a public street?” The TikToker replied, “Because she didn’t like it being parked right there.” To this, they quipped, “I don’t like her face. Can I get it removed?” Commenters continue to drop their reactions in the replies, taking either the TikToker’s side or the Karen’s side on the matter.
