‘I Hate That People Make Me Act This Way’: Nebraska Woman Tows Neighbor’s Car For Parking In Her Spot

Is it petty though?

A Nebraska woman had her neighbor’s car towed after she found it parked in her spot. She argues that she pays $30 a month for the spot and expects to use it. The TikTok video has over 190,000 views and nearly 9,000 likes, proving people can’t get enough of her “petty” response.

In the video, she shows both a red car and the sign reading #25. The Nebraska woman states, “I hate that people make me act this way.” She argues that the spot is in her lease with the apartment company because she pays for it. Additionally, the woman has no sympathy for someone misunderstanding the sign. She says, “If you don’t understand what that sign means, then you know what? Tough.” Parking in that spot has consequences, and she isn’t above having a car towed.

Welcome back to: somebody is parked in my parking spot. I hate the people make me act this way. But don’t park in a spot that’s reserved that you know isn’t yours. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. #towing#towtruck#parking#neighborfromhell

Before filming the video, she already called Midwest to get the car. Ironically, this is not the first time the Nebraska woman has had a car towed. Meanwhile, she has posted an update video where she claims, “You know how I know, they [expletive] knew better?” She then zooms in on a red car parked down the parking lot. This is the one she claims was in her spot. Furthermore, the woman believes this isn’t a reading comprehension issue, but rather an entitlement one.

People Are Living For Nebraska Woman

The Nebraska woman’s video shows people revealing their petty sides, and they fully support her decision. One says, “That sign is really clear. No sympathy for them.” Meanwhile, several cheer her on, saying, “TOW THEM AWAY!” Another says, “Tow them, not your fault they choose to ignore the sign.”

Additionally, many call out the audacity the person had for parking there in the first place. One commenter states, “The spot is clearly marked. The person knows it’s a private spot. But they’re so comfortable inconveniencing another person.” Her reaction inspires a commenter: “I’ve adopted this response, ‘I’m sorry your negative behaviour caused me to act out of character’.” While another understands her anger: “The amount of rage I have when someone parks in my paid parking spot is scary.”

The Nebraska woman has responded to a few comments with videos that back up her annoyance at people parking in her spot.
