Yesterday, an Amazon Air cargo plane crashed on the runway at Miami International Airport in Florida. While the news has already circulated all across the globe, people are still shocked, especially since the unfortunate incident resulted in five casualties. While the runway didn’t have the necessary safety measures, many still believe that the crew, especially the pilot, weren’t careful enough, which led to this unfortunate accident.

One of the recent discoveries is that, according to the FAA, Miami International Airport lacks the Engineered Material Arresting System (EMAS), which, in theory, could have prevented the accident, as it is designed “to help stop an aircraft that overruns the runway end.”
While the above is certainly alarming, especially since that technology could have potentially prevented the incident, many still think otherwise.

Some have even said that the landing was already bad, and that even with EMAS, the plane would have still met its unfortunate fate. Florida Residents Claim the Pilot is the Main Culprit
At the time of writing, those who are still looking at the news and sharing their thoughts on social media believe that it was the pilot the one who caused the incident, with many even claiming that the whole crew was at fault.
