A woman in Phoenix, Arizona, is facing accusations after she was recorded sprinkling an unidentified substance around an apartment complex in an area reportedly frequented by dogs. The footage sparked concern among viewers about what the substance was and whether it could pose a risk to animals.
Mia Lynn, a TikToker, shared the video online. She describes herself as a dog mom and often shares videos with her dog, Oakley, so the video above likely hit close to home for many viewers. It garnered 835,400 views, 61,300 likes, and close to 2,500 comments.
The Arizona woman started recording her 9-second clip, potentially from her own apartment. She showed the common area of the apartment complex when a woman suddenly entered the frame. In her hand, a blue container was spotted, and some commenters believed it was an Ajax Powder Cleanser can. Such cans contain bleach.
The woman can be seen scattering the can’s contents all over the floor and around the shrubs. Furthermore, it appears this was not the first round of sprinkling, as the ground already has pale bluish spots, resembling Ajax bleach powder. Before the clip ends, the woman appears to look toward the camera.
The video was cut short, but the comments section, along with reactions, also provided some context. One user in particular alleged that the woman had called animal control on her dogs and even contacted the police multiple times.
Mia, meanwhile, said she reached out to either the authorities or the leasing office. Mia wrote in the clip’s description, “She has already been reported,” after referring to the woman as a “psychopath.”
