A Texas woman is accused of calling for an ICE agent on her neighbors over a 5 p.m. noise complaint, despite no music being audible in the video.

A phone call outside a Texas apartment complex is drawing attention after a neighbor’s noise complaint reportedly escalated into a request for immigration enforcement. The exchange was caught on camera, showing how a dispute between neighbors quickly took a more serious turn.

The residents on the receiving end of the call said they had never spoken to the woman before and did not expect the confrontation.

I don’t post stuff like this but today we have been threatened by an alleged nice person. We have never spoken or heard anything from her. to go guns blazing on us is crazy. I would think to have some type of conversation as an adult or figure out if it might be another neighbor that might be close, but she chose us to scare and threaten. I wish people could be kind and respectful but I guess it hard nowadays. Please be kind and spread positivity not hate. I’ll do a story time tomorrow #racism #hate #threats #proudtobeanamerican #proudlatino

According to a video shared on TikTok by @ozzybanks05, a woman is seen standing under a covered walkway outside a Texas apartment complex while speaking on the phone. She appears to be talking to a dispatcher and says she is reporting the residents of unit 110 for playing loud music at 5:49 p.m.

She claims the noise had woken her and her two children several times. She then asks for a wellness check on the neighbors before making a more serious request.

“Can you send an ICE agent? Because I think that they are undocumented as well,” she says. She also claims that three families are living in the unit. However, no music can be heard in the 47-second video.

The neighbors targeted by the call identify themselves as Hispanic. Text over the video says they had never spoken to the woman and had received no communication about any noise complaints.

“We have never spoken to this lady before. We didn’t receive any communication on any noise complaints,” the text reads.

The person who shared the video also said the woman could have tried speaking to them or checking whether another nearby neighbor was responsible. Instead, they felt she had chosen to use the call to scare and threaten them.

Internet Reacts to Texas Woman’s Alleged ICE Call Over Noise Complaint

The video drew strong reactions online, with many viewers questioning the woman’s claims and criticizing her decision to involve immigration authorities over a noise complaint.

Some commenters focused on the apparent lack of evidence. One wrote, “She has her phone like she’s on speakerphone, but I don’t hear no one on the other end. Seems to be bluffing, knowing you got a door cam, knowing she’s calling in front of it.” Another pointed out, “Meanwhile, there’s not a single sound coming from the house.”

Others questioned the timing of the complaint, since the woman specifically said the music was being played at 5:49 p.m. One commenter wrote, “5:49 p.m. right? cause she can’t be serious.”

Another called the behavior disturbing and suggested that the residents report the woman to apartment management, “The fact that she isn’t even otp with anyone.. Some people are just miserable and DISTURBED!”

The “ICE hotline” referenced by the woman is the Homeland Security Investigations Tip Line, which operates 24 hours a day. The Department of Homeland Security increased staffing for the line in 2025 to speed up the processing of tips involving suspected immigration violations.

Despite claims that people can be paid for reporting suspected undocumented immigrants, ICE has said it does not pay for tips submitted through the hotline.
