A Florida woman is facing criticism online after saying that she no longer wanted to be with women and preferred men.

The woman shared a video on TikTok, explaining that she had been dating women for six years. She then said she wanted to share the reasons why she felt ready to have a man in her life, making it clear that her video was not satire.

According to the woman, her first reason was that she was older now. “I think I’m kind of out of the silly stuff that I was doing in my twenties,” she said. She added that she longed to enter her “feminine era,” which she felt was something women could not provide for her. She also compared her situation to that of her friends who were married to men, saying she wanted something similar.

Her second reason was economic stability. She explained that she did not necessarily want a man’s money but had realized that “the world is not built for single people.” In her view, settling down with someone was “economically smart.” She also expressed the belief that women were no longer settling down, adding, “I don’t wanna do boy stuff anymore.”

The woman continued explaining that she no longer wanted to handle tasks such as checking her car’s oil or taking out the garbage. She said that her masculine appearance often led women to expect her to take responsibility for these things in a relationship. “I just wanna be a girl,” she added.

She also admitted that she had not been a “great wife” in her twenties, when she was married to two men, but claimed that she had since “figured it out.” She said she wanted to care for a partner but felt that women would not allow her to take on that role. “Everybody’s toxically independent,” she explained.

“I just want a boy to take care of and care for, and I want to make us a little blue collar lunches,” she said. She also listed protection and security among her reasons for wanting to be with a man. Anticipating that some lesbians might argue that their girlfriends could also protect them, she insisted that the situation was different. “It’s not the same. Our biology and anatomy aren’t even the same,” she said.

At the end of the video, she clarified that she still liked women and was attracted to them. However, she no longer believed that a long-term relationship with a woman was right for her. “I just recognize at this point in my life it doesn’t make sense to try to settle down with a woman long term,” she concluded.

Viewers Slam Florida Woman Over Video

Many viewers online criticized the Florida woman for saying she wanted to stop dating women and pursue a relationship with a man instead. “This is so weird,” one person wrote. Another woman responded, “As a former straight woman, good luck finding a man like that.”

Other viewers continued criticizing the woman and those who agreed with her. Some even expressed disgust at the discussion in the comments. “This comment section is absolutely disgusting,” one person wrote. Another commented, “This comment section is just ew.” Someone else pushed back against her expectations of men, adding, “I hate to tell you this but men are also in their feminine era as well.”

The video raised questions about how people’s romantic preferences and relationship goals can evolve over time. It also highlighted the importance of allowing people to explore different relationships without judging them for choosing to date a different gender than they previously did.
