TikToker @dry.humor.foods was furious when he found out his 8-year-old daughter was left off at the wrong bus stop. Luckily, she made it home safely. But this dad wasn’t about to let it go without saying something and confronts the bus driver as he’s letting children off at the stop. When he tells her that his daughter was let off at the wrong bus stop, he’s surprised by what he hears. The bus driver tells him, “I’ve been having a lot of issues with students getting off at the wrong stop.”
The bus driver tells this father that he understands where he’s coming from and why he’s so upset. He says he’s going to try to make sure nothing like that happens in the future. This dad responds back with, “That is completely unacceptable to let an 8-year-old off at the wrong stop. I will be contacting the school about this.”
To make matters worse, this father said there’s a barcode system to ensure children are left off at the correct stop. The driver scans their backpack at the stop to make sure that they’re at the assigned stop.
The Driver Allegedly Knew the Girl Was at the Wrong Stop
Apparently, this driver scanned her backpack and still allowed her to get off at the wrong stop, which was concerning to him. When his daughter walked up behind him before the bus even arrived, he was furious and upset. He adds, “She should never have been put in a situation where she had to figure out how to get home from a completely different stop.”
The video immediately sparked reactions from concerned commenters, many agreeing with this father. One commenter stated, “Very scary for a parent. Hope the guy gets the training he needs.” Another urged, “Report to the school and let the principal know you’d like him reported to the Department of Transportation.”
Others, however, refused to take this father’s side and even blamed him for his child needing to take the bus.
