In fact, some said it would take divine intervention to keep them from throwing hands. Meanwhile, others had questions about the wreckage left behind.
Posted to TikTok by @youknowmario, the video shows a gray sedan outside a damaged apartment building, surrounded by scattered belongings. The driver repeatedly apologizes, but the Alabama maintenance worker isn’t having it. “The whole [expletive] building gone,” he says. He also accuses the man of being drunk and tells him he’s headed “straight to [expletive] jail.”
In the caption, the creator writes, “Always some new [expletive] being a maintenance man.”
Viewers Want More Than an Apology
The apology didn’t satisfy many viewers, who thought they would have had a much harder time keeping their cool. “It would’ve took Jesus and all of his disciples to get me off his [expletive] man,” one wrote. Another said they would have had to put their hands on him.
Viewers also weighed in on what would happen to the driver next. “He going straight to jail,” a commenter said, echoing the Alabama creator. Another argued he shouldn’t be driving at all and should lose his license for good.
However, some weren’t convinced he’d face much punishment. “Bet he’ll be out, the same day,” a viewer predicted. Another feared he would get off lightly while the people affected would suffer.
Meanwhile, the wreckage raised questions of its own. “But like why is it covered with boxes and garbage bags?!” someone asked. Others wondered where everything came from and why there was so much junk. One commenter offered a theory, suggesting the driver had “wiped out a small outdoor closet used for storage.”
