Furious Illinois Mom Has Heated Meltdown Over Car Crash: ‘Victim Mentality is Wild’

You be the judge.

Car crashes are an unfortunate part of reality, and even the best drivers can mess up sometimes. That said, an Illinois woman had a full-on meltdown when another woman supposedly wasn’t apologetic enough for a car collision.

The woman filming was upset, given that – as she claims – she’s a single mother who had just bought that car. Meanwhile, the other woman was driving a company car, and would likely not have to pay for a replacement vehicle.

That said, neither individual can be expected to know the other person’s life story. Still, the two Illinois women exhibited completely different reactions to the crash. One was heated and expressed a desire to fight, while the other seemed relatively indifferent and mostly ignored the other individual’s ire.

In a perfect example of the comments section not going the way one had hoped, the woman filming uploaded the clip to the internet just to be found guilty by the court of public opinion. One person commented, “If you rear-end someone, it’s your fault, moron.” Another echoed, “The mental gymnastics for blaming the person you drove into…” A third shared, “Victim mentality is wild.“

Meanwhile, others expressed a desire for the woman who was filming to also record her reaction when the insurance company supposedly rules the crash to be her fault. On a similar note, one Redditor predicted, “Yep, she’s gonna be really angry when the cop cites her for the accident.“

So far, the widely requested video of the woman filming getting blamed for the accident has not been uploaded to the internet. Rather, the woman herself made a post explaining why she felt she wasn’t at fault. She shared that they were in “bumper-to-bumper traffic” and claimed that the other woman admitted fault by not driving into the grass that was on the side of the road.

Unfortunately for this individual, the public was unmoved by her explanation and still maintained that the crash was her doing. As one internet user shared, “The idea that if the car she rear-ended just rear-ended the one in front of it rather than hitting the brakes would have somehow saved her from being involved in the accident rather than just causing a pile-up of cars, is hilarious to me.”

At this point, it seems nothing will convince this Illinois woman she was in the wrong. Not even worldwide feedback via social media, in which the entire internet tells her she caused the crash.
