A Texas father took his frustrations to new heights after something that happened while his child was trick-or-treating. On Halloween, this father said his child was presented with an egg with the word ‘DANGEROUS’ printed on it. What was inside left him feeling angry and he decided to confront the home that handed it out.
Randee (@randeee90) says he experienced something frustrating and scary while he was trick-or-treating with his child. His son received an “egg full of staples” with the word ‘DANGEROUS’ written on it in market. He remembered which house handed out the egg and decided to confront the family about what his son received. To him, he wondered if they had ill intentions when handing out candy.
In Randee’s video, he walks up to the home and asks a man inside if they handed the egg out “on purpose or on accident.” The man goes further into the home to retrieve his wife. When she approaches, Randee asks her if it was an accident and why they received the egg. She takes the egg full of staples and immediately apologizes to Randee. He asks her, “Why would you do that? I don’t mean to cause a problem, but why would you do that?”
The woman states that it was an accident, and that she thought it was “sugar.” She states, “I thought it’s candy in there.” Randee tells her it’s not okay that his children received the egg. To him, he sees it as an accident waiting to happen. To this, the woman retreats back into her home and looks through her candy to make sure nothing else is hiding in there. She tries to offer Randee some candy but he tells her he doesn’t “want any” and walks away.
The video immediately sparked reactions from concerned commenters. One commenter suggested, “Her kids or grandkids probably thought it would be funny and she had no clue.” Another stated, “That’s bad, why would they do something like that? This is not okay.”
However, others believe that it was just a mistake that, luckily, did not end up being dangerous or deadly. One commenter shared, “Bruh it was obviously an accident.” Another added, “She looked genuinely confused and sincerely apologized.” Commenters continue to speculate on what happened, sharing their opinions on how the situation was handled.
