Indie developer Afterburner Studios and publisher Freedom Games are ready to unveil their project a bit earlier than initially planned. The action roguelike title Dreamscaper is dropping a week before its initial launch date with all-new content.

From Dreams to Reality, The Dreamscaper Awakens

Over the past year, Dreamscaper has garnered significant attention from many passionate fans. During the roguelike’s Early Access run, the reviews have been “Very Positive” from Steam users, accumulating 845 individual feedbacks at the time of this writing. Ian Cofino, the co-founder of Afterburner Studios, commented on the game’s impact on the players, saying:

When we launched Dreamscaper on Steam Early Access last year, we couldn’t imagine Cassidy’s journey would resonate with so many players. The journey so far has surpassed our wildest dreams and we look forward to continuing to make dreams come true when we can share the Dreamscaper experience with everyone on Nintendo Switch and Steam this August.”

Dreamscaper 1.0 Launch Date Trailer

Version 1.0 will feature two new bosses, a new biome to explore, additional story content, and more to experience. The bold heroine Cassidy will also be able to equip a plethora of spectacular weapons and abilities. She can use explosive finger guns, a deadly fishing pole, frisbees that ricochet from one foe to another, etc. Evidently, you can unlock more by exploring Cassidy’s real-world connections. In addition to this, Dreamscaper will support English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean languages.

The action roguelike adventure was previously announced for an August 12 release. Now, players can look forward to Dreamscaper 1.0 when it officially launches on August 5. It will be available to play on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam for $24.99.
