An Alabama couple has gone viral after making a delivery driver’s day with a snack cart. The wholesome video has won over the internet with more than 519,000 views and 83,000 likes. People are loving the driver’s reaction. But none are more excited than the couple themselves.
The Alabama couple, Shelby and Dylan, are loving how much the snack cart has made someone’s day. Dylan shares that a few months ago “his wife decided to start feeding [their] delivery drivers.” He admits that at first he didn’t know how to feel about it, given the money spent on the packages delivered. Meanwhile, his wife insists, “It’s a good thing to do, and he found that out today.” Turns out, when he checked the security camera, “what [he] saw changed [his] mind about the entire thing.”
The Alabama man shares a clip of a delivery driver dropping off a package. In this, the driver can be seen noticing the snack cart. He then picks out a couple of snacks and a bottle of water, which he shows to the camera, and says, “I appreciate ya’ll.” But that’s not the part that’s winning over the internet. The driver doesn’t just walk off the porch; he jumps off with a little skip in his step. Dylan states that after seeing this, “I can’t be the joy thief.” Meanwhile, Shelby states this “has made [her] entire year.” She adds that there have been a couple of other drivers who have also had sweet reactions. She elaborates in the comments, “Our UPS driver even sent us a thank you letter the other day & we’ve had multiple other ‘thank yous’ through the camera.”
People Are Obsessed With Alabama Driver
Dylan doubles down on his excitement: “I may go in there and cook them a whole buffet.” However, Shelby suggests it’s time for a mini fridge, but her husband may draw the line at appliances. He isn’t opposed to the idea of a coffee bar. Everyone is on board with these ideas, especially after watching the Alabama driver’s wholesome reaction. One states, “HIS SKIP OMG imma cry.” Another adds, “The joy in that heel click!” A third commenter calls the gesture “such a lovely thing to do.”
Drivers have also shared in the comments. One states, “I can’t tell you guys, how many times customers like you have saved my life.” Another states, “As a previous mail lady, we appreciate it more than you’ll ever understand.” Meanwhile, several are on the wife’s side and insist, “You better get a mini fridge! They deserve COLD water!”
While they haven’t shared whether they’ll add a mini fridge or not, family members of the driver have commented on the video. They said he appreciated the gesture.
