During Gamescom 2023, Alan Wake 2 unveiled a new trailer that mixes live-action with videogame graphics, creating a terrifying experience. The last time we got a big gameplay trailer for Alan Wake 2 was during Summer Game Fest, and it seems the developers were saving another big video for Gamescom 2023. In the recent trailer, we got a glimpse of more story details about this upcoming survival horror game. As you may or may not know, Alan Wake 2 will let you play as two characters. The first is Alan, of course, while the second is Saga Anderson, an FBI agent. The former is looking for a way to escape the Dark Place, while the latter wants to solve a case of murder.
