In Baghdad, players can explore and find Lost Books of Baghdad for reward, and here all of the books’ locations in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
How to Find All Lost Books of Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, there are tons of specific items that you can find and get rewards for. One of them is the Lost Books of Baghdad. The books are scattered across the city of Baghdad and you can find and use them to get Skill Points and Scholar Tokens. Finding all of the books and delivering them to Al-Jahiz in the House of Wisdom will also unlock the Scholar trophy or achievement as well as the Scholar outfit.

There are actually 7 Lost Books of Baghdad. Six of these books can be found easily in the city, but one of them is hidden on the outskirts of Baghdad and you have to search for it. The seven Lost Books of Baghdad and their locations in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are:
- Al-Tabari: Tafsir of al-Tabari – Nestorian Monastery
- Kalila wa-Dimna – Great Mosque
- Al-Kwarizmi: Al-Jabr – Near the Observatory
- The Banu Musa: The Book of Ingenious Devices – Harbor Camp
- Al-Sikkit: Diwan Abu Nu’as – Palace of the Green Dome
- Suleimain al-Tajir: Accounts of China and India – Tuesday Market
- Kitab Al-Zahif – Near Swamps
Location of Al-Tabari: Tafsir of al-Tabari
Starting our journey to find these books of great value with Tafsir of al-Tabari. This book is the interpretation of the Qu’ran by Al-Tabair and has great religious and literary value. To reach the location where this book is, you must use the secret entrance. The entrance will lead you to a series of underground tunnels. There will be a couple of obstacles that you must move in certain directions to reach the book.
Kalila wa-Dimna Lost Book Location in Baghdad
The next Lost Book is called Kalila wa-Dimna. The characters of this book are mainly animals and it contains moral stories for children. This book is located in the Great Mosque of Baghdad. The entrance door to the room where the book is will be locked.
Use the window above it to get inside the building and then hit the fire barrel downstairs with a throwing knife or other throwables. Now you can access the room using the main door and on the table to your left will be the second Lost Book.
Al-Kwarizmi’s Al-Jabr Book
Al-Jabr basically means Algebra in Arabic. So basically you have to find a copy of Kwarizmi’s Al-Jabr book which laid the foundations of Algebra in Mathematics. This book is located near the Observatory in the Abbasiyah district.
The book will be located inside an unknown house so it is best to use your map to reach it. You can destroy the door to go inside. You should walk in and turn right to see a bookshelf that can be moved. Replacing it will uncover the entrance to the second floor where the Lost Book is located.
The Banu Musa Lost Book Location in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Three Persian brothers known as the Banu Musa wrote The Book of Ingenious Devices. This book contains illustrations of some of the most advanced devices of that era. The Banu Musa book is located in the Harbor section of the Karkh district.
Getting inside the building will be tricky. First, you have to use the platform near the window with fences to throw a knife at the window on the other side to open it. Then use that window to go inside the room and grab the fourth Lost Book of Baghdad.
Accounts of China and India Lost Book Location
Sulaiman al-Tajir or Sulaiman the Merchant was a well-known merchant in Baghdad who wrote about his voyages. His most famous one was about his journey to China and you have to find a lost copy of that in Mirage.
You can find this book in the Tuesday Market on the outskirts of the city. The book is located inside a restricted building so you have to be careful. Use the ladder to go upstairs and the book will be on the table.
How to Find the Secret Lost Book of Baghdad in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
This is the secret Lost Book that is not located on the map but you must find it to get the trophy. It is located in the Wilderness near the Swamps. Firstly, use the ladder to reach the high platform in this area. Use one of the vases to throw it on the fragile floor. Once you break the barricade you can grab the book.
How to Get Al-Sikkit: Diwan Abu Nu’as Lost Book
Abu Nu’as was a well-known poet of that era in Baghdad his poems were arranged by Al-Sikkit. The reason this is the last book on the list is that you have to reach almost the end of the game to reach its location, the Palace of the Green Dome.
After completing The Serpent’s Nest, the balcony door to the location of the book will be opened. To reach that balcony, use the Harem to get inside the Green Dome. Look at the map above to know exactly where the balcony that leads to the room with Lost Book is located.
How to Get the Scholar Outfit in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Now that you’ve got all the Lost Books of Baghdad head to the House of Wisdom. Then speak will Al-Jahiz and give him all the books. Then you will be rewarded with the Scholars Outfit and also unlock the Schoalrs trophy.
