One of the latest and greatest things about Tears of the Kingdom is the fact that you can customize many things, including your Paraglider. Depending on what amiibo you possess, you can even style the Paraglider after multiple games in the Zelda series. This is an obvious upgrade from the previous game. In Breath of the Wild, you only had one Paraglider available for the whole game. As of writing this article, there are 38 different Paragliders you can use by obtaining fabrics and having amiibo on hand. Many require references from photos you take around Hyrule. However, finding the resources youโ€™ll need for each glider can be a little tricky. In this article, weโ€™ll list where you can find all references for Paraglider fabric in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Get the Reference Pictures for Paraglider Fabrics

(Updated on October 3, 2024 โ€“ updated links and format)

While there are many fabrics out there for Linkโ€™s Paraglider, there are a select few that are hard to get. Sayge in Hateno Village requires that Link snap some photos of various animals before they create specific fabrics for the Paraglider.

To unlock all Paraglider fabric references, Link will need to find every animal for each fabric and show the photo to Sayge. Only a total of 8 fabrics are made this way. Sometimes finding the required animals can be tricky, which is why we have some locations and strategies you can try for each creature.

Aerocuda Fabric

To find an Aerocuda, youโ€™ll have to scour Greater Hyrule. If youโ€™re the type who likes to explore different ways to encounter various creatures, you can also try looking for them in the Depths. Either way, youโ€™ll find them flying about, often carrying treasure chests.

To strike them down if they get too close, you can use any ranged weapon, or simply throw whatever you have in your hand at it. Once youโ€™ve taken a clear photo of one, return to Sayge, and the Aerocuda Fabric will be available for you to use.

Eldin-Ostrich Fabric

To find this mob, you can venture to a few different places and find success. The first area is the Eldin Mountains. As you might have guessed, the name does help a little when it comes to what youโ€™re hunting.

If youโ€™re still having trouble finding one even after exploring both the Eldin Canyon and Mountains, consider circling Death Mountian as well. They are particularly common there. Before hunting it, make sure you get that picture without disturbing them. Once you have your snapshot, unlocking the fabric is as simple as returning to Sayge and showing her the photo.

Cucco Fabric

To get all Paraglider fabric references, youโ€™ll have to hunt down a Cucco as well. Since itโ€™s relatively small, it may be a tad hard to find. To have the best success at finding one, scour the area south of Kakariko Village.

If youโ€™re still having some trouble tracking one down, look a little closer around the northernmost area of the village, near the Pillar of Levia. If youโ€™ve ever gathered eggs from these creatures, finding one to take a picture is a similar ordeal. Once you get a snapshot, bring it back to Sayge.

Gleeok Fabric

If youโ€™ve not yet faced Gleeok, we have some locations for you to check out so that you can get all Paraglider fabric references.

  1. First is Sky Island above Eventide Isle.
  2. Next is the Sky Island above Gerudo.
  3. Third is the Gleeok Den, as it is appropriately named within the Great Hyrule Forest Depths.
  4. Finally, you can find the Gleeok in West Herbra Sky Archipelago.

After snapping a quick picture, you can unlock the Gleeok Fabric through Sayge.

Grizzlemaw-Bear Fabric

Grizzlemaw-Bears are relatively easy to find. In fact, you may have found some by accident. To get a snapshot of one of these creatures, just travel to the Gerudo Highlands. If you have trouble there, try the Herbra Mountains.

They can be seen running around and are notable for having grey fur. If you want to take things a step further, you can always mount it to have an interesting mount for your journey.

Horse Fabric

This one is astoundingly simple. If you donโ€™t have a horse yet, you can find them in any open fields near a stable. Most regions have them, so you wonโ€™t have to search for very long to get yourself a snapshot of one. Even if you donโ€™t feel like catching a horse yourself, just a snapshot of one from a stable will do just fine.

Lynel Fabric

Lynel can be scary, but don't worry. You don't need to get this close.

Depending on where you are in the game, Lynel can either be formidable enemies or an absolute terror. To get all the Paraglider fabric references in Tears of the Kingdom, you just need a picture of one. Donโ€™t worry; you donโ€™t have to defeat them. There are plenty of set locations where Lynel appears.

However, many of these locations are scripted, not to mention dangerous. To find a Lynel accessible for even someone at the beginning of the game, we recommend the one in West Hyrule Plains. This Red-Maned Lynel is the easiest to tackle of the monster. Beware, as heโ€™s no pushover. Best to take your photo and skedaddle as soon as you can.

Stalnox Fabric

To find Paraglider fabric references in Tears of the Kingdom, youโ€™ll need to track down animals that only appear during specific time windows. To get the Stalnox Fabric, youโ€™ll need to find the Stalnox near one of the set locations where they appear.

Itโ€™s worth noting that they only appear at night. Icefall Foothills, Rowan Plain, East Akkala Plains, Statori Mountian. Hickaly Woods., Harfin Valley, North Aris Beach, and around Hyrule Castle are all places where you can find the beast.
