Genshin Impact Version 4.2 is in full swing, with players starting to plan their newest grinding sessions. With all new quests, events, chests, and much more, there are tons of new rewards available for players to claim if they put in the effort. Despite this, it’s hard to consider just how many Primogems are available because no quantifiable number is readily available, to sum up the rewards of Genshin Impact Version 4.2. This changes today.
How Many Primogems Are Available In Genshin Impact 4.2
HoYoLAB user gløømy has posted a short calculation of how many Primogems free-to-play and pay-to-play players can earn throughout Genshin Impact Version 4.2. The HoyoLAB user reports that free-to-play Travelers can earn a maximum of 10,740 Primogems, 10 Aquaint Fate, and 6 Intertwined Fate. On the other hand, pay-to-play players can earn a maximum of 15,200 Primogems, 10 Aquaint Fate, and 10 Intertwined Fate. In total, this calculates to 73 Wishes and 103 Wishes, respectively.
To earn the highest amount of Genshin Impact Version 4.2’s Primogems, players will want to focus on Daily Commissions, events, and exploration throughout Fontaine’s new zones. These avenues will earn around 7,000 Primogems making up a bulk of the total Primogems, even for pay-to-play players. Although exploration can be done at any time, players will need to stay on top of their Daily Commissions and events, as these are tied to a pretty tight time limit. The remaining Primogems should come from the Spiral Abyss, quests, achievements, and the usual update compensations from HoYoverse. The exact amounts are as follows:
- Daily Commissions: 2,520 Primogems
- Spiral Abyss: 1,800 Primogems
- Events: ~2,900 Primogems
- Exploration and Quests: ~2,620 Primogems
- Achievements: ~300 Primogems
- Update Compensation: 600 Primogems
- Battle-Pass (Pay-to-play only): 680 Primogems
- Welkin Blessing (Pay-to-play only): 3780 Primogems
Genshin Impact is available for free on Mobile, PlayStation, and PC.
