HoYoLAB user glรธรธmy has posted a short calculation of how many Primogems free-to-play and pay-to-play players can earn throughout Genshin Impact Version 4.2. The HoyoLAB user reports that free-to-play Travelers can earn a maximum of 10,740 Primogems, 10 Aquaint Fate, and 6 Intertwined Fate. On the other hand, pay-to-play players can earn a maximum of 15,200 Primogems, 10 Aquaint Fate, and 10 Intertwined Fate. In total, this calculates to 73 Wishes and 103 Wishes, respectively.
To earn the highest amount of Genshin Impact Version 4.2โs Primogems, players will want to focus on Daily Commissions, events, and exploration throughout Fontaineโs new zones. These avenues will earn around 7,000 Primogems making up a bulk of the total Primogems, even for pay-to-play players. Although exploration can be done at any time, players will need to stay on top of their Daily Commissions and events, as these are tied to a pretty tight time limit. The remaining Primogems should come from the Spiral Abyss, quests, achievements, and the usual update compensations from HoYoverse. The exact amounts are as follows:
