This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Are you curious about all Sprigatito evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet before you choose them as your starter? Or perhaps you’ve already chosen them and want to know what to look forward to? Either way, note that Sprigatito has a 3-stage evolutionary path, so you have multiple companions to enjoy. We’ll touch on each evolution, how to get them, and all of their stats below.

All Sprigatito Evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Sprigatito is a 9th Generation Pokémon introduced in the latest game. They are one of your available starter companions. So, if you want a Grass-type right at the beginning, you should consider selecting them since they have no spawns in the wild. The only other way to nab this charming cat-like companion in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is via trade, and afterward, you can enjoy Sprigatito’s evolutions.

For abilities, Sprigatito naturally knows Overgrown and has Protean as a hidden ability. They can, of course, learn several moves as well as TMs like TM103 Substitute. It’s easy to adapt them to suit your needs.

Now, let’s get to all the Sprigatito evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. As we stated, there’s a 3-stage evolutionary path: Sprigatito –> Floragato –> Meowscarada. Throughout their evolution, they don’t stay on four legs. Instead, they go the traditional route of becoming a bipedal companion.

Thankfully, you don’t have to look for any special items for this. When you have Sprigatito, you simply level them up until they are Level 16. From there, you will get Floragato. To get Meowscarada, you must level Floragato up to Level 36.

As you can see, Sprigatito’s evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are straightforward.

Before you start evolving Sprigatito in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, let’s take a look at all of their base stats. This way, you can see if they’re worth choosing as a starter or finding someone to trade with.

Pokémon Sprigatito Floragato Meowscarada
HP 40 61 76
Attack 61 80 110
Defense 54 63 70
Special Attack 45 60 81
Special Defense 45 63 70
Speed 65 83 123

Throughout Sprigtatio’s evolutions in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, their Attack and Speed significantly increase. This can help make them a reliable Grass-type to use further along in the game before you stumble upon even stronger ones. Plus, as they level up, they learn some Dark and Bug moves too alongside other Normal and Grass-type moves. Once you reach Meowscarada, they will even learn the Fairy-type move Play Rough.

So, remember to use Sprigatito in battle often and feed them candies to boost how fast they level up. You’ll go through the evolutions in little time.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is available on Nintendo Switch.
