Starfield comes with many places where players will be able to unload their cargo and get some useful goodies while they’re at it. However, one of the best places to sell some shady loot is the Trade Authority. Starfield‘s universe has a few areas where you can find these shops; knowing their location is crucial for those hauling contraband. Starfield: Trade Authority Shops Location
There’s a total of 6 Trade Authority shops in Starfield, and thankfully, the location of each one isn’t hard to find. However, you’ll need to complete a few quests and travel to specific places to access some of these shops. While they might not seem as much, they are one of the few who buy contraband from you, making them essential for those roleplaying as a smuggler.
New Atlantis
The first Trade Authority store in the game is inside New Atlantis. You can find this store in The Well area of the city by following certain activities. After getting the Alternating Current quests, you’ll find yourself inside this shop, which has some useful items and can buy contraband from you.
Akila City
Finding the Trade Authority shop location in Akila City is one of the easiest in Starfield. When you enter the city, you’ll spot a bank robbery in progress; you must choose which path to take. After that, head to the bar next to the bank and head behind it to find the shop.
Neon
Neon is a city full of criminals and shady dealings, and a Trade Authority shop fits right in. Finding the shop in this city is easy, as you only need to head to the east side of the city after you enter through the gates and enter the shop with the bright yellow sign; it’s hard to miss.
Cydonia
Cydonia is one of our favorite locations as it shows people’s struggles living in a mining community and shows spacefaring isn’t as glamorous as many might think. Given how many illegal dealings happen in this place, too, a Trade Authority feels at home. To find it, walk down the main hall and hug the right wall until you spot the Trade Authority sign.
The Den
The Den is the most useful place in the Wolf system as it lets players sell contraband before getting shielded cargo for their ships. To find the Trade Authority, travel to the Wolf system and head toward The Den on your map, dock your ship, and enter the station to find the store; it’s the only relevant place inside.
The Key
Last but not least, we have The Key. This huge Space Station can be accessed by following the Crimson Fleet questline. After completing the initial tasks for the faction, head inside the Space Station to find the Trade Authority shop. This is one of the game’s biggest stations, so check all other stores while you’re at it.
