It’s not a Mario game without fun and quirky minigames. Super Mario RPG presents that through the delightful task of playing music—namely Tadpole music. The Melody Bay puzzle returns from the original game, and although there are hints, it’s not always clear what tadpoles you should jump on. Some extra guidance will ensure you play the right Tadpole Pond songs to solve each Melody Bay puzzle in Super Mario RPG.

Tadpole Pond Song #1: Frog Sage Suite No. 18

The first Melody Bay puzzle comes courtesy of the nearby Tadpole NPC. You’ll see them leading to Melody Bay, and if you speak to them, they reveal the title of the song and the tune they want to hear. To play the correct Tadpole Pond song in Super Mario RPG, jump on the tadpoles in the following order:

The next Super Mario RPG Melody Bay puzzle is available in Moleville after you rescue the kids from there. Your clue comes from the moles this time around. When you return to Tadpole Pond, you can play another song in the order laid out below:
