In order to continuously kill enemies, you need to upgrade your weapons, but it’s not as easy as you’d think. There are 2 upgrades for each of the 3 weapons, which are placed in different locations. We will teach the locations of all weapon upgrades in Blasphemous 2. To successfully obtain the upgrades, you will need certain skills, such as Passage of Ash, so make sure you get it by defeating Afilaor before you go exploring. You won’t have any trouble searching, as all the necessary locations and ways to get upgrades are listed below.
Blasphemous 2: Ruego Al Alba Upgrade 1 – Location
The first upgrade for this sword is located at the Beneath Her Sacred Grounds location. After reaching the top of the region, you will notice stone platforms that you can jump on to move further. Move along them until you see an opening on the right, but be careful because after interacting with the platforms, they self-destruct. Once you see the opening on the right, use Double Jump to get in.
If you do it right, you’ll end up in a room with a huge enemy with a hammer, so just jump over it to move on. In the new area, you’ll have to move forward until you notice a mirror and a breakable wall. Use the Double Jump, then use Sarmiento & Cenelle to hit the mirror to fly up. While flying, equip Ruego Al Alba and break through the wall. Upon entering the newly opened location, you will notice the first upgrade.
Blasphemous 2: Ruego Al Alba Upgrade 2 – Location
The second upgrade is located at the Crown of Towers location. First, you’ll need to go northeast and then west until you find the statue. When you do, interact with the statue to open the gate in the upper-right corner of the room.
Now, you need to get to the passage as quickly as possible before it closes. Use the Air Dashing ability to get there and once you’re in the new location, break the floor with Ruego Al Alba. Going down below, you will find another statue that you have to interact with and lower the lift to the bottom.
Now you’ll have to go back upstairs to jump on the platforms on the right. After jumping off the last one, use Ruego Al Albra again to catch the lift on its way back and break the wall on the right. In the new room, you’ll find the second upgrade.
Blasphemous 2: Veredicto Upgrade 1 – Location
You will find the first upgrade in the Elevated Temples area. First, you will need to get to the westmost Prie-Dieu. Once there, you will notice a Bell hanging in your face. Interact with it, and blue platforms will appear, which you need to jump across to reach the upper-right corner of the room.
Once there, you’ll notice a contraption that you have to hit by jumping off the last platform. If you do it right, a new room should open below you, containing the first upgrade for this weapon in Blasphemous 2.
Blasphemous 2: Veredicto Upgrade 2 – Location
The second upgrade can be found in Sunken Cathedral. Once you are near the first Prie-Dieu, move up to the highest floor on the eastern side of the region. Once there, go left, then up and right. There will be enemies waiting for you, so we recommend killing them before proceeding.
If you do everything right, you’ll be able to interact with the statue to move the Bell to the right side of the location. When you do, hit it with your Veredicto and then quickly fall to the floor below you. This will open a passageway into the room, which you’ll need to avoid until you reach the next location. This is where the second upgrade can be found.
Blasphemous 2: Sarmiento and Centella Upgrade 1 – Location
You will find the first upgrade in Choir of Thorns. Next to the first Prie Dieu in the twisting room to the right of it, you can find a statue that is located at the bottom left. Interact with it to open the entrance on the top right and use the Passage of Ash to get to the next room.
Once there, move to the right side of the room, jumping over the obstacles until you see a ladder. Use it to get down, then go to the left, where you’ll find the first upgrade for this weapon in Blasphemous 2.
Blasphemous 2: Sarmiento and Centella Upgrade 2 – Location
The second upgrade is located in the Elevated Temples. Once you’re in the region, move to the left, going all the way to the end, then interact with the angels to go up. Now you will have a simple race through the blue mirrors until you find yourself in a location where there is one blue mirror, as well as a root that serves as a floor.
Use your abilities and Ruego Al Alba to break through the passage and get down. After breaking through the floor, you will find yourself right next to the second upgrade.
