The last few months have been jam-packed with new information about the heavily anticipated fourth Mass Effect title. From explanations of the games weapons and combat design to news of a revamped dialogue system to extensive footage of exploration and narrative. We’ve learned a lot about this upcoming RPG juggernaut, in a very small space of time. And with its release date just a few short weeks away many gamers are getting out their wallets, ready to pre-order. But what is the best version of Mass Effect Andromeda for you? Because there are quite a few. So let Thenerdstash.com break down every edition of Mass Effect Andromeda available.

Deluxe Edition – $70 USD.

This version includes the core game plus a variety of single-player and multiplayer add-ons.

  • Deep Space Explorer armor set
  • A unique skin for the Nomad
  • 5 50% XP boosters for multiplayer
  • Pathfinder casual outfit
  • Scavenger armor
  • 4 Pathfinder Elite weapons
  • A pet pyjak
  • Mass Effect: Andromeda digital soundtrack
  • A Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack, which instantly unlocks weapons and equipment

Super Deluxe Edition – $100 USD.

The Super Deluxe Edition should only be bought by those looking to get their money’s worth out of Mass Effect’s multiplayer. You receive the same add-ons as the Deluxe Edition, plus 20 multiplayer premium packs that with be received weekly, to aid your progression.

Collector’s Edition: Diecast Nomad ND1 – $100 USD.

Be warned, the Collector’s Edition should be bought in conjunction with either the standard game or one of the Deluxe Editions. This Collector’s Edition doesn’t include the actual game itself or any DLC bonuses. Instead, it offers a limited edition steel book and a 1:18 scale diecast replica of the Nomad ND1, your main form of mobility in the Andromeda game.

Collector’s Edition: Remote Control Nomad ND1 – $200 USD.

The most expensive edition of Mass Effect Andromeda available and it also does not include the base game or any in-game bonuses. What you do get is the steel book available in the other Collector’s Edition and a remote control Nomad ND1. The Nomad is operated through a mobile app and has controllable lights and is able to capture photos and video.

General pre-order bonuses – Free with the game.

Additionally, there are several pre-order bonuses for ordering either the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition or Super Deluxe Edition. These include…

  • Deep Space Explorer armor
  • Nomad vehicle skin
  • 5 50% XP boosters for multiplayer

We did debate whether to include the Collector’s Editions in this article, as they don’t include copies of the actual game and so, therefore, it is debatable whether they can actually be considered editions of the game. But ultimately we decided that we want you to know all the options available to you. For everything on Mass Effect Andromeda stay tuned to Thenerdstash.com
