The website has given this description: “Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a game in which you build a cosy camp life with friends and your favourite animals. If you have played Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo, you might bump into more than a few familiar faces!”
Players will be in the campsites manager and Isabelle, previous town mayor secretary and assistant in New Leaf, will hand the keys over. In this version, players will be able to craft furniture and other items which Cyrus, an NPC, will make for them with the right materials at hand.
Instead of a house, players will be staying in a camper which they will be able to customise, similar to a house in previous versions. Amenity’s such as a merry-go-round will be available to craft for the campsite but, will take more time than other items. The information given on the website suggests that certain amenities unlocks a special event or item.
As fans may not be surprised to hear, they will be able to go fishing, gather fruit and collect bugs. Finally, they have also mentioned a more interactive system with NPC’s, in which players can build friendships by doing tasks for the animals. Players will also be able to host animals to convince them to visit the campsite again with the right furniture dotted around the map.
