FXX has set the end of one of its flagship series with season 14 of Archer. The premiere of the popular animated series will hit on August 30 on FXX and then be available on Hulu the next day.
The series follows the odd personalities in the spy world. The end of Archer in season 14 will follow the titled character (H. Jon Benjamin) and the agency’s new leader Lana (Aisha Taylor), figuring out how to move forward. While she tries to balance helping people around the world and making money, she realizes that running a spy agency is harder than she imagined.
FXX to See the End of Archer With Season 14
Since its 2009 debut, the animated comedy has had plenty of highs and lows during its run. It has been a huge success over the years, including it earning Emmys. It has had its lows, like the death of Jessica Walter, who played the agency’s leader and mother to the titled character, Malory Archer. It also had to change the agency’s name due to it being the same as the terrorist group ISIS. Throughout those issues, it has found ways to adjust to conclude the way the creator, Adam Reed, had in mind.
The end of Archer with season 14 has been announced on the same day as other release dates for FX shows. What We Do in the Shadows will return on July 13, the Justified sequel series Primeval City premieres on July 18, and Reservation Dogs season 3 premieres on August 2. All of these will be available on Hulu. The streaming service will also have The Full Monty (June 14) and The Bear (June 22).
As fans prepare to say goodbye to Archer after its end with season 14, it is unknown how many episodes will be in the final run. The premiere will air the first two episodes. You can also catch up on the series on Hulu.
