Armored Core 6 is a paradise when it comes to building mechs. This new entry has many parts that players can use to build practically anything. While some might be looking for a fun, themed build, others prefer to min-max certain stats to have the perfect AC. That is why we’ve prepared a guide for the best Biped Build in Armored Core 6 to get you going. This build works as a starter and should help you through the game’s first stages and even in most arena fights.
Armored Core 6: The Best Biped Build for Beginners
As we’ve mentioned before, Armored Core 6 has many things that might be overwhelming for players. Many stats can be hard to keep track of. And on top of those numbers, there’s also a plethora of parts that offer different things for certain ACs. Those jumping into the game for the first time might want to find a good balanced build, and for that, you can’t go wrong with Biped mechs in Armored Core 6. Bidep builds are great since they balance weight, speed, and protection. For those starting their mercenary career, here’s the build we recommend:
- Head: HD-011 MELANDER
- Core: BD-011 MELANDER
- Arms: 04-101 MIND ALPHA
- Legs: LG-011 MELANDER
- Booster: ALULA/21E
- FCS: FCS-G1P01
- Generator: VP-20S
- Right Arm: LR-036 CURTIS
- Right Shoulder: BML-G1/P20MLT-04 (Missile Launcher)
- Left Arm: MG-014 LUDLOW
- Left Shoulder: VP-60LCS(Laser Cannon)
How Does the Build Work?
Now that we’ve listed the parts, let’s explain why we picked this and consider it one of the best Biped Builds in Armored Core 6 for beginners. First and foremost, most parts are easy to get during the game’s first chapters and shouldn’t require many credits. Second of all, they are balanced. For example, the Melander parts are perfect for protection without hindering your boost speed. Your AP stat will go up to 10,000, making you more durable. The only part we changed was the arms since they provide more protection. The ALULA booster is one of the best, and you should add it to any build you make.
For weapons, the Curtis rifle is a fantastic long-range weapon with steady damage numbers; it works better when the enemy is staggered, though. For the shoulders, you can’t go wrong with the missile launcher. It reloads fast and has a huge ammo count. The laser cannon is there due to its destructible capabilities when firing charged shots. We decided to add a machine gun because it helps break some shields and apply pressure to enemies that move fats, yet the left arm is a flex slot, and you can change it to whichever weapon you prefer.
