Assassin’s Creed Shadows Just Became Attack On Titan Due to This Hilarious Glitch, ‘It’s Not a Glitch, It’s a Reference’

OP song intensifies

While Assassin’s Creed Shadows has provided players with a mostly bug-free and glitch-free experience, there are still a few hiccups that sneak here and there, and a recent one gave some players Attack on Titan PTSD. A user on Reddit shared some screenshots of an NPC glitching out and morphing into something large. While it isn’t a game-breaking glitch or a major one at that (pun intended), it is as hilarious as it is scary.

I only had one glitch so far, but it was kind of a biggie

User FortressCaulfield on Reddit shared screenshots where an NPC in Assassin’s Creed Shadows became huge, resembling the creatures of Attack on Titan.

The glitch happened at Muko Post Town after the player killed a Ronin. The Reddit user reports the NPC just turned big after defeating the aforementioned enemy. Also, they initially thought it was one of the Animus Anomalies or something pertaining to gameplay, but it wasn’t the case. They even used the Eagle Vision to see if it was a side objective or something, but nothing happened.

Fortunately, users around Reddit and the OP took this with humor.

“It’s not a glitch, it’s an attack on titans reference lol (Just kidding not being serious for those who can’t read between the lines)” – Mostefa_0909 via Reddit.

“That’s kinda cool tho lol imagine if he someone you would have to fight tho” – TheManWhoWispers via Reddit.

In truth, there haven’t been many glitches or bugs in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and those that have appeared have been minor. Well, all except this one.

So far, the launch of Shadows has been welcomed by many, and has hit new records for the franchise in overall player count and concurrent players on Steam. During the weekend, Ubisoft’s latest game gained 2 million players, and Shadows already surpassed Odyssey, which held the highest concurrent player count on Valve’s platform.

Even with a few glitches here and there, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has become one of the most enjoyable and successful games of the franchise in recent years. Also, the game just launched, and there are more updates coming in the future, such as the expansion. So, we can only hope for this series’ latest entry to get better as time goes on. Also, we hope that these “titans” never become an enemy we have to defeat.
