A confrontation outside a Florida bakery is drawing sharp criticism online after the shop owner was filmed threatening to call federal immigration agents during a dispute over a parking space. The video, which shows the exchange outside Sweet Face Bread & Cakes in Seffner, has spread widely after being shared by the family of the man involved.
According to a Facebook post from Becky Leon-Bustamante, her brother had parked in a spot marked for bakery customers only while visiting a neighboring store in the same plaza on South Kingsway Road. Video shows a woman in a bakery apron confronting the group near the vehicle, telling them, “I am calling ICE,” while gesturing toward the car parked beside a curb marked “ONLY CUST BAKERY.”
In the clip, translated from Spanish, the man recording the confrontation can be heard saying, “You don’t like that, do you? You sons of *expletive*.” Leon-Bustamante wrote that her brother is in the country legally, and later acknowledged that “my brother’s words were not the right words to express himself,” while maintaining that the threat to contact immigration officials came first.
In a follow-up post, Leon-Bustamante said footage from the neighboring store shows the confrontation escalating before the ICE threat was made, and that the bakery owner followed the group toward their vehicle afterward. She said her goal was to counter what she called a “FALSE version of how the events unfolded,” adding, “No one is superior to anyone. Just because you have a business or a role does not give you the right to threaten anyone!”

The clip was later shared on X by @LongTimeHistory, where users largely sided against the bakery owner. One commenter wrote simply, “Behaving like a crab in a barrel.” Another added, “Disgusting. If Ice was there, both would be picked up,” while a third argued, “The rich people want us minorities and non-rich turned against each other. If we are busy fighting each other, we can’t pay attention to them.”
Others drew broader comparisons. One commenter wrote, “Damn.
