The day has finally come; after months and months of curiosity surrounding this Nintendo exclusive, the Bayonetta 3 release date has finally been released. The third game in the series will officially launch on October 28, 2022, and fans couldn’t be happier.
Along with the Bayonetta 3 release date is an exclusive new trailer that you can watch below. Platinum Games first revealed the news about this threequel almost five years ago, but new information regarding the game has been few and far between, apart from some minor gameplay reveals last year. That all changes, though, because this trailer will offer an interesting insight into the game and what to expect.
What Nintendo Says About the Bayonetta 3 Release Date
This Nintendo exclusive is a highly regarded series in the huge catalog of games that the Japanese giant has to offer. Nintendo themselves wanted to comment on the Bayonetta 3 release date and what fans can expect to see when the game comes out. Nintendo said, “The titular Umbra Witch must face a mysterious evil using her signature guns and time-slowing Witch Time ability. This time, invading man-made bioweapons called Homunculi find themselves in Bayonetta’s crosshairs.”
A variety of new aspects will be added to Bayonetta 3, such as a new ability called ‘Demon Masquerade,’ which allows Bayonetta to channel the demon that links the all-powerful witch to her weapon of choice, providing the player with new action options and hell bending combos. Bayonetta can also summon other demons and harness their powers for her own gain – nothing will stand in this witch’s way.
The news about the Bayonetta 3 release date is a welcome one because of how much new information comes with it. Now we know that the game’s story will feature both Tokyo and the mountains of China, as well as letting players take control of another witch called Viola. Viola has a few tricks up her sleeve, too, though, as she enlists the help of her demon companion, Cheshire.
